Everyone has a twin
It’s your image you need to know
For however you operate in this earth
Your image is sure to go!
You may look at a picture one day
And you hate the way you look
Your image speaks to you and say
“But it’s the picture YOU took!”
You dressed your image in clothes
And later you thought was a mess.
“Why in the world?” you ask your image.
“Why did you put on this dress?”
Your image says to you
“I do what I’m told to do.
If you don’t like what I do
Then sister, you don’t like you.”
Your image is your companion
It is a gift from God.
If it does not have His character
Then your image is a fraud.
I have a twin on the inside
And I have a twin on the out
And when we travel together
It’s a unity route
Stop blaming your twin and walk as one
Because that’s the image of God
Love your image and uplift your twin
Like Moses did the rod!
Dedicated to my twin sister, twins, and images everywhere!

I am very happy
To have a son like you
Some sons have no connection
To their parents like you do
I know you’re not perfect
But you’re certainly not lost.
As long as you give God glory
And honor his son’s cost
He gave his only son
To die for our sins
And in this game of life
He showed us how to win
I know that children hide things
And you think we don’t know
But I also know that wins and losses
Help a child to grow.
You’ve been given the 10 commandments
And been raised as a man
Now its up to you
To stick with God’s plan.
You may not listen at times
And come off like you don’t care
But you’ve been trained in the way you should go
And will be in your parents’ prayer.
I pray that you remember us
In all you say and do
Because Mom and Dad are very happy
To have a son like you!
Dedicated to my son, Jeremiah Bles’d Wicks
and to sons everywhere. Go home!

Now listen my little children
You’ve been gone too long
I gave birth to you
You were always strong.
You were made of particles
Each element works for you,
According to how you treat them
They’ll do what you want them to.
I left your parts in history
You will find them in a book.
All of the missing pieces
You will find if you just look.
All because of a book
There’s a new superhero in town.
Never too far to look,
You always wore the crown.
Like the corona around the sun,
It’s your light that hides your power.
But once connected to its rays,
You’re your own super tower!
Raise your fist high,
When you stand under the crown.
For all that is buried below
Will unite under the ground.

There once was a man who wore a mask
He wore it everyday.
The children were afraid of him,
And never wanted to play.
He was sad and lonely
Only he knew the reason why
He could never remove the mask
He just wanted to die.
One day a girl asked him
“Sir please remove your mask.”
He responded, “I dare not remove it,
For then you shall see my past.”
The little girl didn’t care
She carefully removed his mask
His face was surely distorted
from the things he did in his past.
She saw a drooping eye
He said that was because of lust.
His mouth had suffered a stroke
He said that was because he cussed.
She noticed that his nose was broken
That was because of a fight
Now she saw much clearer
Wearing the mask gave him no light.
She took the man by his hand and said
"Let us kneel and pray,"
The man kneeled and cried
It changed his life that day.
For the little girl prayed and prayed,
She prayed with all her might
And all of a sudden a miracle happened
The dark was swallowed by light.
The man discarded the mask
Never to be worn again
For he realized in the moment
That the Light had covered his sins.
Christ is the Light!
Take off the Mask, and come to the Light!
